Bob Monkhouse

Robert Alan Bob Monkhouse, OBE was an English entertainer.

Bob Monkhouse was born at 168 Bromley Road, Beckenham, Kent, the son of Wilfred Adrian Monkhouse and Dorothy Muriel Monkhouse ne Hansard . Monkhouse had an elder brother, John, who was born in 1922. Monkhouses grandfather John Monkhouse was a prosperous Methodist businessman who cofounded Monk and Glass, which made custard powder and jelly.
